Banca Transilvania, the leader of the Romanian banking market, has reached 100,000 Premium Banking clients, an increase of 25% compared to the same period last year. This segment includes clients with savings or investments of 75,000 - 200,000 euros or with monthly incomes of at least 10,000 lei received in a BT account. Premium Banking is a different segment from Private Banking, where the threshold is 200,000 euros - cumulative - in accounts, savings and investments in the BT Group.
In May 2023, the bank announced the re-segmentation of Premium Banking - Private Banking, as a result of which Premium Banking clients in Bucharest have access to personalized consulting offered both physically, in four BT branches, and remotely, through the Virtual Relationship Manager (VRM).
