Romania is among the European countries where the price of coffee has increased significantly. According to data from March 2024, the annual consumer price variation rate for coffee in the European Union was +1.0%, compared to +13.5% in March 2023. However, Romania experienced a growth of +6.8%, placing it among the countries where coffee has become more expensive. This trend was also observed in other countries such as Croatia (+7.4%) and Bulgaria (+6.6%). In contrast, Finland and Lithuania saw significant price decreases for coffee, at -15.5% and -15.4%, respectively .
